Job Summary

March Consulting Associates Inc. is a multi-discipline engineering, project and construction management provider based in downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. March Consulting specializes in the mining sector, most notably potash and uranium mining and refining. Employee-owned, March Consulting is continually growing and employs approximately 50 Saskatchewan-based personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • In coordination with the technical team, prepare and respond to all proposals, to ensure it meets’ March’s processes and standards
  • Establish and co-ordinate administrative policies and procedures
  • Review and provide input to sales reports
  • Track and coordinate all project progress reports with Project Controls’ personnel
  • Maintain customer records for internal customer relations database including recording new customers and design wins
  • Perform clerical duties as required, cover Executive Assistant duties while she is on vacation or personal leave
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, complete booking and registration for conferences, for employee training and testing, and for various events, if required
  • Assist project management processes to collate tracking; facilitate purchasing authorizations and expenditures
  • Assist support staff, provide coverage, organize catering and other general office related requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in public administration, marketing/sales or a related discipline is considered an asset
  • Advanced practical experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of vital importance
  • Strong attention to detail very important
  • Must be personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients, coworkers and the public
  • Keen interest to learn about our clients, our business and the mining and engineering sector
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
