Henry Feldkamp

Henry has more than 30 years of broad engineering experience in Canada and is one of the co-founders of March Consulting.

Specialized in structural engineering, Henry has been involved in a myriad of structural design, upgrades, investigations, and evaluation projects in roles ranging from structural engineer to project sponsor. He has permission to consult in Saskatchewan and is registered in several other jurisdictions across Canada. He has consulted widely on projects across Canada and around the world.

Henry is well acquainted with the broad field of civil engineering and is a Fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (FSCE). Henry acts as an advisor and technical expert for all of March’s civil projects.

Henry has broad knowledge and deep involvement in organizations representing professional engineering. He was the president of the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan when geoscientists joined the association in March 1997. He also held the position of Chair of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan. Email


Barry Schmitke

Barry has in excess of 30 years of experience in various areas of the mining industry, specifically in potash and uranium. He has an extensive background related to regulatory liaising, preparation of environmental impact statements, feasibility studies, general mine management, project management, construction management, design of surface infrastructure, mine engineering, shaft site selection and sinking, mine operations, mine development and public consultation and community relations for mine development projects.

Barry has had significant exposure to the federal and provincial regulatory processes to obtain the approval for the development of a “Greenfield” mine.

His work has taken him around the world investigating potential mining and civil engineering technologies for application in underground mining. Email


George Khng

  Vice-President, Asset Integrity


George Khng is a senior civil engineer and an expert in the field of asset integrity. George has developed and leads the Asset Integrity business area of March. He has over 36 years of experience in detailed engineering design, business development, management, construction, and installation of mining, port/marine, offshore fixed platforms, arctic gravity based structures, topsides, deep water platforms, LNG terminal, jack-up drilling rig and refinery structures for the oil & gas and mining industries.

George has broad Canadian, North American and International experience in technical and business aspects in heavy industrial applications.  He has published several technical papers and is licensed to practice in numerous jurisdictions in Canada, the USA, and the United Kingdom.  He is an experienced and talented leader of project teams and individuals.
George has broadly based technical skills.  He has experience in the following computer programs:  Staadpro, SACS, DAMS, Ansys, CosmosM, Microsoft Office Suite and general application software. Email
