Mary Scarfe, A.Sc.T.
Senior Instrumentation Designer
Mary Scarfe received her Industrial Instrumentation Diploma and 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate from SAIT. She has been at March for over 10 years and has been an asset to a number of the electrical team’s projects. Her experience at March has included, design work for Cameco, Agrium, Potash Corporation, and K+S Potash Canada. Recently Mary was the Senior Instrumentation Designer for the K+S Potash Canada Legacy Project and worked with the Lead Electrical Engineer on deliverables such as P&ID’s, Alarm list and data sheets.
She has several years of mining and plant operation experience in process, electrical and instrumentation controls. She has been involved in design and drafting using AutoCAD for potash and uranium projects. This included the mine expansions and upgrades for the injection system at Potash Corporation’s Patience Lake Project.
Mary has over fifteen years of field experience with both Cameco and SaskPower. She is familiar with the Northern Cameco sites including underground at McArthur River. Her Plant experience includes working as an Operator in all areas of the Key Lake Mill as well as the Queen Elizabeth Power Station.
