Planning and Conceptual Design
During this initial phase of a project, March offers management consulting and high-level project strategies. We start by analyzing our client's unique problems and business opportunities. Then, drawing on our broad-based vendor-neutral position, we are able to recommend strategies that are the most cost effective and beneficial.

The benefits of these recommendations include cost savings, revenue improvement, and/or risk reduction.

Installation, Commissioning, and Start-up
During installation, commissioning, and start-up, March brings it all together to make a fully functioning system that can pay dividends to our clients.

March also offers construction management and inspection services. Having us on-site in this capacity, with our extensive experience, adds real value to the project and provides the essential quality assurance needed.  You understand the objectives, the technologies, and the constraints. Working with our power engineers ensures each client's distribution project is installed correctly, on time, and on budget.

When the equipment is in place, our engineering staff works together with construction personnel to commission each piece of equipment. This vital step ensures that each component is installed correctly, and is functioning properly, as it should.

After commissioning, we normally assist with the system start-up. Our staff works closely with client operational personnel to bring the process to full running condition. Operations and maintenance personnel are trained on the system and provided with a maintenance manual by the same engineers, designers, and technologists who designed the system.

Maintenance and Support
Of prime importance to our clients is the March commitment to provide long-term support, while at the same time providing the client with the tools to be self-sufficient upon completion of the project. We take all possible measures with respect to documentation and training to ensure plant self-sufficiency. Because of our industrial background, we are always concerned with the implications of production downtime.

As well, our engineers, designers, and technologists are always available to respond to questions, make upgrades, work on-site in conjunction with the client's maintenance team, and provide support long after the initial project is completed. The support we provide includes training and technology transfer, enabling our clients to maintain the system equipment in peak operating condition themselves, and support for future upgrades or expansion.
