Plant Design and Layout
March’s mechanical design team has extensive experience in the design, layout, and retrofitting of industrial plants and mines. This experience includes the design, sizing, and specification of equipment with the focus on ease of installation and maintenance. We specialize in plant layout, material handling, chute work, pumping/piping, tanks, machine design, stress analysis, and project management. Our design team works extensively in 3D CADD, which ensures proper fit and clearance for every component of the design. The 3D model is used to generate all drawings and provides a powerful visualization tool for clients’ internal and interdepartmental communications.

Fabrication and Machining
March’s design team has in-house knowledge of current fabricating and machining processes. All designs can be carried through to the generation of complete shop drawings, if required. We have experience with a variety of materials including mild steel, QT/AR material, alloy steels, aluminum, stainless, inconel, etc. All shop drawings are comprehensive and include proper tolerances, weld symbols, BOMs, and accurate material take-off weights.

Engineering and Field Service Experience
March has engineering and field services experience in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, mining and metallurgical processing industry, clean rooms, and SX/EW tankhouse ventilation.

March has completed potash, uranium, lead zinc, gold, coal handling facilities, food industry, copper and zinc SX/EW tankhouse ventilation projects.
