Capital Cost Estimating
March has personnel experienced in producing capital cost estimates from conceptual level through to detailed level, depending on the level of engineering required.
Overall, our estimates are structured according to the wants and needs of our client. For mining, metallurgical and other industrial projects, March has an established estimate structure, which is used when the client has no specific format dictates.
Our estimates are structured to provide needed information for analysis and review, and to enable specific information or groups of information to be readily extracted.

Scheduling
March has experienced personnel who can assess the type and level of scheduling that a specific project, or portion of a specific project - needs. The level of schedules will range from “Preliminary Objective Schedule” to very detailed schedules such as “Detailed Engineering Work Schedules”, “Detailed Field Installation Schedules”, etc. Schedule presentations (type) are selected to best satisfy specific job or area requirements, as well as to meet CLIENT criteria.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting
Along with overall scheduling and cost control, March project procedures provide monitoring and control of engineering man-hours and engineering progress. Engineering activities are listed along with their corresponding estimate of engineering man-hours and estimated duration. The activities are scheduled to present their criticality, specific engineering manpower loading, sequential prerequisite requirements, etc. These activities are continually monitored for progress (% complete), man-hours expended, and man-hours to complete. This information is incorporated into the regularly issued overall progress report; see “Project Engineering Management” below.
