Woodland Wellness Centre - Lac La Ronge Indian Band

The Woodland Wellness Centre stands as a powerful testament to community resilience and the commitment to culturally grounded healing. Located in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, and developed by the Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB), the Centre offers holistic health services with a focus on mental health, addiction treatment, and overall wellness.

March Consulting partnered with LLRIB in the delivery of this landmark project, contributing project management services from initial concept to final commissioning. Designed to reflect the natural beauty and cultural values of the Woodland Cree, the Centre brings together traditional healing practices with modern therapeutic supports under one roof.

On October 20, 2022, March was honoured with the Project of the Year Award from the Project Management Institute – Northern Saskatchewan Chapter for the successful delivery of the Woodland Wellness Centre. Led by Project Manager Kyle Krushelniski, the project earned the highest overall score, including top recognition in the Community Impact category. This award highlights not only the technical excellence and disciplined execution of the project, but also its profound and lasting benefit to the Lac La Ronge Indian Band and the broader northern Saskatchewan community.
